A small company, Wye River Models is located on Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore. They are passionate about the history of the wooden boats that worked the Chesapeake Bay and other bodies of water in the area. Because of their passion, they are dedicated to the preservation of that history. They offer authentic kits of scale-model replicas of different boats used by the people who worked the waters of the Chesapeake Bay area.
 
Even though these kits are scale model replicas of actual boats, Wye River Models encourages you to personalize your model ship. Paint it your own way or modify it so that it reflects something real in your life.
