We want you to be happy! If you're not completely thrilled with one of our items, we will refund or exchange your order. Details and exceptions are covered below.
Cancellations & Refunds:
- If you received the wrong item or the item was damaged, you can return or exchange it.
- For Iron Shipwrights and Wye River Models brands only:
- Orders cancelled or returned within 5 business days will be subject to a 15% administration fee and, if the order has been shipped, return shipping will be on you.
- 5 business days after delivery, no returns accepted.
- For Amati, Occre, and Old Modern Handicrafts brands only:
- Orders cancelled or returned within 3 business days will be subject to a 50% administration fee and, if the order has been shipped, return shipping will be on you.
- 3 business days after delivery, no returns accepted.
- Special Order Items: No Returns Accepted
- For Sea Eagle brand and Special Order products:
- No returns accepted.
Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order. The policy below applies to all brands.
How the Damage and Return Policy Works
The instructions below are designed to expedite the return of merchandise that was delivered damaged. Each of the steps below must be followed in order for us to provide you with a satisfactory experience.
Return of a damaged item during shipping (to lower 48 United States).
Contact us immediately via text message or phone call at (401)632-2469, or email email@example.com (within 3 days of delivery). Contacting us after this period voids any claim.
- Email us pictures of the damage in question to firstname.lastname@example.org within 3 days of contacting us about this claim. These are required by the shipping company to file a damage claim
THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY.
Return of an item you are unsatisfied with:
Contact us immediately via text message or phone call at (401)632-2469, or email email@example.com (within the time frame applicable to the brand purchased)
We will respond within 3 business days with a return address. Please do not proceed to the next steps, until we have contacted you back with an address.
Place the item securely in the original package, exactly as how it was packaged. Please package the model, display item, etc exactly as it arrived, if the model is not packaged this way damage might occur
Include all paperwork, parts and accessories that were included with the model, display item, etc.
Ship the model (at your cost) to the address we will provide to you. It is recommended that the return is insured for the purchase price in case of loss or damage. You will need to contact the shipping company for claims if needed.
Contact us with the tracking number of your shipment.
We will notify you when we receive the item and ensure that it in saleable condition.
If the return is in saleable condition, we will process your refund right away (within 16 days at the absolute most). It will take 3-5 days to reflect on your account statement once the refund has been processed. The applicable administration fee will be deducted from your refund.
For special order models, refunds are not offered.
If you fail to follow the instructions above, your return/exchange will be void. Please contact us with any questions regarding our policy.
