Faithfully rendered in 1/350 scale, the USS Delaware BB-28 kit delivers high-fidelity detail for serious modelers and collectors. Optional parts for USS North Dakota (BB-29) are included, and decals for all ships in the Delaware class are provided.

Brief History

USS Delaware (BB-28) was the lead ship of the Delaware-class “super-dreadnoughts,” commissioned in 1910. She carried ten 12-inch guns and represented a step up in size and firepower over earlier U.S. dreadnoughts. Delaware served with the Atlantic Fleet in peacetime exercises and goodwill visits, and during World War I she operated on the U.S. East Coast on convoy-protection and patrol duties. After the war she participated in fleet maneuvers and troop repatriation. Following limits imposed by the Washington Naval Treaty, she was decommissioned and disposed of in the early 1920s.
