The larger size makes the KADET LT-40 easier to see in flight. The larger size gives the KADET LT-40 a lighter "wing loading", which lets it fly slower than other trainers. Slower speed gives the student pilot more time to think and react to what the model is doing. That makes learning to fly R/C quicker and easier! The larger size makes the KADET LT-40 more stable in flight. You'll have true "hands off" stability on all axis. If the student pilot gets disoriented, merely let go of the control sticks and the KADET will recover itself and return to level flight. The KADET LT-40 has a true "Clark-Y airfoil" for better penetration in the wind and more aerobatic capability than trainers with a totally "flat bottom airfoil". After mastering straight and level flight, and learning to take off and land, you can learn loops and rolls with your KADET LT-40.

This is a all-wood ARF model airplane. All of the major components (wing, fuselage, tail surfaces, landing gear, etc.) are factory built and finished, and ready for final assembly. The motor and radio systems are not included.

The LT-40 ARF is engineered for quick assembly with a minimal number of parts.

Repair:
Because the LT-40 ARF is pre-covered in only one color (white), repairs are easy. All you need is white Ultracote® (aka ORACOVER®) and a new decal sheet. Even a major structural repair can be recovered to match perfectly.

Customize:
Would you rather have a trim scheme that's uniquely yours and doesn't look like every other trainer at the flying field? Toss our decals and go wild. The all-white base is the perfect "canvas" for stars, sunbursts, and rainbows. Or, go with logos from your favorite sports team, drink, motorcycle, or company. You're only limited by your imagination.

A shipment within California will take 4 to 6 business days to arrive to you. A shipment to New York will take 5 to 12 business days to arrive to you.
