TheK-535 Yuriy Dolgorukiy Borei-Class Submarine is the lead submarine of Russian's Borei-class, developed as part of the modernization of its sea-based nuclear forces. Named after the founder of Moscow, the submarine was laid down in 1996, launched in 2008, and commissioned into service with the Northern Fleet in 2013.
