This model comes FULLY ASSEMBLED and ready for display. The hull is expertly crafted using the plank-on-frame method, ensuring structural integrity and a smooth, seamless finish. Our master craftsmen handcraft each model from scratch, relying on historical photographs, blueprints, and original ship plans to ensure accuracy. The ship's distinctive design and color scheme are carefully replicated, featuring a sleek blue hull with a bold yellow stripe, along with the National Geographic emblem and branding on the bow. The detailed windows, decks, and railings are finely crafted, capturing the true essence of the ship. This model is built to scale with premium-grade wood such as western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany, ensuring durability and authenticity. No plastic parts are used—only the highest-quality wood and metal materials. Each model is 100% hand-built, following the same traditional techniques used in real shipbuilding. Launched in July 2021, the National Geographic Endurance is a state-of-the-art expedition cruise ship named after Ernest Shackleton’s legendary vessel. Designed for year-round polar exploration, it navigates some of the world’s most remote waters, including Northeast Greenland, Jan Mayen Island, and the Northeast Passage. Built to accommodate 138 guests in 71 spacious cabins, the ship offers modern comforts such as private bathrooms, climate control, Wi-Fi, and scenic windows or balconies. Equipped for adventure, it carries Zodiac landing craft, kayaks, snowshoes, and advanced undersea exploration equipment, allowing passengers to experience the polar regions up close. Onboard amenities include a lounge with a bar, gym, yoga studio, infinity hot tubs, saunas, a spa, and a library.
