    Historical Summary: USS Connecticut (BB-18) was a Connecticut‑class pre‑dreadnought battleship laid down in the early 1900s and commissioned in 1906. She served as a fleet flagship and took part in the Great White Fleet’s world cruise (1907–1909). Connecticut later performed convoy-escort and training duties during World War I, and was decommissioned and sold for scrap in the early 1920s under postwar naval reductions.

    Model Length (1/350 scale): The ship’s overall length was about 456 ft 3 in. At 1/350 scale that’s roughly 15.6 inches long (rounded to the nearest tenth).

        • You mention the scale of the model is 1:350 but what are the actual dimensions?

          I Googled "length uss connecticut bb18 1910". The answer was 456.3 ft. Convert to inches by multiplying by 12 and you get 5,475.6 inches. To find the length of the model in inches at 1/350 scale, just divide by 350. The model is about 15.6 inches long
