        • Can this be converted to a R.C

          No

        • Can you provide the overall finished dimensions: length, width, height, and estimated weight? Also, I don't have any experience with assembling a resin model. How does it compare to a plastic model assembly? Thank you for your response!

          Height is about 4.5" with masts, width is about 2.75", and weight is about 3 lbs, 14 oz.

          As far as length: The model's length will be about 24.9 inches.

          Resin vs Plastic:

          A. When receiving your resin kit, you are going to need to wash it with dish soap to get any residual oils off the surface.

          B. Even though resin is slightly softer and a little more brittle compared to plastic, they have the potential to capture much finer detail than their plastic counterparts. However, don't worry about breaking any pieces, the manufacturer will replace any parts with no questions asked and have excellent customer support. 

          C. Acrylic and enamel paints work well on resin.

          D. Super glue is the best glue for resin kits.

          E. All kits come with detailed instructions and, as previously stated, amazing customer support from the manufacturer. I've dealt with them personally, and they are very helpful and nice.

          F. These kits come with photoetch parts for the railings, ladders, etc, which normally don't come with plastic kits (usually you would have to buy them separately)

          G. A lot of ships are not offered in plastic, because they might not be mainstream enough for big manufacturers to mass produce them.
