History
The Endeavour Yacht Corporation was an influential American boat builder, founded in 1974 by John Brooks and Rob Valdes in Largo, Florida. Specializing in the design and construction of fiberglass sailboats, Endeavour quickly gained a reputation for producing durable, well-crafted yachts. The company’s offerings included a range of sailboats, from smaller cruisers to larger, more luxurious models, appealing to both recreational sailors and competitive racers. Endeavour's success during the 1970s and 1980s was marked by their commitment to innovation and quality. They built a strong following among sailing enthusiasts, and their boats became known for their seaworthiness and distinctive designs. However, despite its initial success, the company struggled financially, ultimately going out of business in 1986. In the years following Endeavour's closure, the brand was revitalized when it was purchased by Bob Vincent. Under Vincent’s leadership, Endeavour shifted its focus to building sailing and power catamarans ranging from 36' to 48'. Bob Vincent continued to produce these vessels until his passing in 2019.
