    The 30-inch handcrafted model of American Carnival Mardi Gras (Excel Class) is a precise, miniature interpretation of the original 2021 vessel, honoring its scale and signature design.

    Hand-built by master shipwrights using the traditional plank-on-frame method, the model is crafted from premium-grade Red Cedar, Teak and Mahogany for lasting beauty and structural integrity.

    • Materials: traditional plank-on-frame construction with Red Cedar, Teak and Mahogany.
    • Dimensions & fidelity: 30-inch scale model faithfully representing the 1,130-foot Mardi Gras—the first LNG-powered cruise ship in North America and the first to feature a roller coaster at sea; the original accommodates over 5,200 passengers with a crew of around 1,700.
    • Finish: hand-painted, scale-accurate detailing with a protective finish to preserve color and wood over time.
    • Craftsmanship process: photographic progress updates at hull construction, deck detailing and final painting; production continues until you are fully satisfied.
