The legend of the Rascal began with a small rubber-powered free-flight model in the 1950s. Adapted for modern radio control, the Rascal's classic good looks and dream-come-true flying characteristics have made it the favorite everyday airplane of thousands of R/C pilots.
With a wingspan of 14 feet, the SIG Rascal 168 has a huge presence but with it's 3 piece wing and removable tail you can still take it to the field in your mini van.


Building the Rascal 168 is much easier then you would think. Using CAD modeling and precision CNC router and laser cut pieces that self align, even builders with little experience can assemble the Rascal 168 kit. No plans are needed! Plywood tabs help lock all the pieces into place before applying glue so you can assemble most of the airframe before adding any glue. Laminating surfaces is easy with glue holes drilled into the back pieces to help lock pieces in place with CA while the wood glue dries. You wont need a massive work bench either as it can be built on a single 6-foot flat work surface.		Precision CNC cut pieces interlock together for an exact fit.
Glue holes in the wood doublers make laminations easy.	Tabs lock the pieces in place and hold the frame firm while the glue is applied.	The tabs are cut off and sanded smooth after assembly.

Your order will be processed and leave our supplier's facility within 3-5 business days. You will receive your model in 4 to 12 business days after you place your order (within the continental United States). Again, Wye River Models brand is the exception, as it may take up to 3 weeks for ship.

A shipment within California will take 4 to 6 business days to arrive to you. A shipment to New York will take 5 to 12 business days to arrive to you.
